Check Valves
Check valves are mechanical valves that perform by allowing gases and liquids to flow in a unidirectional manner. They are designed to open when the fluid / gas flow is in the desired direction, and automatically close when there is a flow in the opposite direction. These unidirectional valves serve a variety of purposes and can be used in different industries & at different temperatures:
- Swing Valve > offers a larger pressure drop compared to others
- Ball Valve > largely used to move fluids
- Split Disc > useful for applications requiring low pressure drops, large check valves, low operating pressures, various positions
- Diaphragm > made of material that can't sustain extreme temperatures (not for wide range of applications)
- Wafer Valve > sleek design
