Our investment cast stainless steel is specified by leading industrial gas companies for storage tank and yard operations.
With increase in flow, the disc moves away from the valve body to allow forward flow of content. As the pressure of flow decreases, the disc begins to come back to the valve body, closing the flow and preventing backflow in turn.
The swing check valves are manufactured in various sizes and designs to allow for varied applications. These valves open fully with high pressure and close down completely as flow dies out.
Evergreen Midwest provides swing check valves manufactured with stainless steel and soft seats. Use of stainless steel makes these valves easier to maintain.
The metal seat of a swing check valve valve provides increased strength, allowing the valve to withstand a higher range of pressures (as compared to those with a soft seat).
